TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up
The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
